Microsoft Copilot encompasses a range of AI-related products.

Copilot for Microsoft 365

Copilot for Microsoft 365 integrates AI functionality into Microsoft 365 services, including Outlook, Excel, PowerPoint, Teams, OneNote, and Word.

You can use Copilot for Microsoft 365 to summarize documents and meetings, draft written content, get suggestions and feedback for your work, and analyze data — all from within Microsoft 365 apps.

Each Copilot for Microsoft 365 license requires one of the following base licenses.

  • Microsoft 365 E3, E5, F1, or F3
  • Office 365 E1, E3, E5, or F3
  • Microsoft 365 Business Basic, Premium, or Standard

An active Microsoft 365 or Office 365 license is required to add a Copilot for Microsoft 365 license.

Microsoft Copilot Studio

Microsoft Copilot Studio allows you to create custom AI assistants for employees, volunteers, and constituents.

You can use premade content building blocks that contain topics, trigger phrases, and scripts for conversations. The AI assistants you create can generate answers drawing from internal and external sources.

To use Microsoft Copilot Studio, you will need to request a single account-level license and a user license for each user who will build and manage AI assistants. End users of your AI assistants do not need licenses.

Microsoft Cloud subscriptions obtained through TechSoup include the following support services.

  • Resources such as webinars, invitation-only events, and how-to guides to support adoption and use
